1. ECM (Preferable over Lotus sourced part)

These units are the OEM part numbers, with 1228708 as the preferred part due to its waterproof case. The only difference between the two is the case. Most original units can be remanufactured or used to satisfy the core charge on the replacement. Prices vary depending on source. ($150-$200)

 

2. DIRECT IGNITION MODULE (Preferable over Lotus part - they will only sell the complete coil pack!)

This was a match up by application to the multi-port ignition used by GM in its Pontiac Quad 4 engine.

 

3. HIGH TENSION COILS (These are exact OEM as used by Lotus)

Direct match GM part number on Lotus OEM part.

 

4. MAT (Preferable over Lotus sourced part, and cheaper too..Lotus part = $66.85)

This was a match up by application to the multiport ignition used by GM in its Pontiac Quad 4 engine.

 

5. BARO SENSOR (Preferable over Lotus sourced part, and cheaper too..Lotus part = $131.98)

Match up to GM part and GM application.

 

6. MAP SENSOR (Preferable over Lotus sourced part, and cheaper too..Lotus part = $167.81)

Match up to GM part and GM application.

 

7. TPS SENSOR ( Recommend Lotus sourced part…Lotus price = $112.05)

This was a match up by application to the multiport ignition used by GM in its Pontiac Quad 4 engine.

 

8. OXYGEN SENSOR (Preferable over Lotus sourced part, and much cheaper! Lotus price = $256.33)

These are pretty much generic match-ups. Bosch makes several which can be used. Just make sure the leads are long enough and that the

new sensor has 4 wires. You can either match up the old connector with a new connector and install, or splice the new sensor wires onto the old connector.

 

9. FLYWHEEL SENSOR (If obtainable using Delco number, would use Delco unless Lotus sourced price was comparable)

This was a match up by application to the multi-port ignition used by GM in its Pontiac Quad 4 engine.

 

10. KNOCK SENSOR (Preferable over Lotus sourced part unless Lotus price was comparable)

Match up to GM part and GM application.

 

11. IAC CONTROL VALVE (Recommend Lotus sourced part…Lotus price = $96.57)

Match up to GM part and GM application.

 

12. FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR (Preferable over Lotus sourced part…Lotus price = $152.01)

Match up to GM part and GM application.

 

13. VACUUM PUMP (Preferable over Lotus sourced part)

The numbers given are close matches. These parts are being phased out due to obsolescence. Some modifications maybe required.

 

14. FUEL INJECTORS (Preferable over Lotus sourced part)

The originals are Delco made and flowed out for the Lotus. Originals can be obtained from Lotus at substantially more cost. The above RC equivalents are exact matches.
